The vestry are elected members of the congregation who  serve with the Clergy to provide leadership of the church. 

VESTRY LEADERSHIP COUNCIL

The vestry is currently comprised of nine members that serve three-year terms. Vestry members are elected during the  all-parish meeting in the fall. The Vestry must be members of Resurrection as well as men and women of spiritual maturity.
What are the Responsibilities of the Vestry?
The responsibilities of the vestry are to help define and articulate the mission of the congregation; to develop long range strategy, to ensure effective organization and planning, and to manage resources and finances.
Who are the Officers of the Vestry?
The senior warden, junior warden, secretary and treasurer are the Officers of the Vestry Council and the church corporation.

Vestry Elections

2026/2027 Vestry Elections Will be held on November 8th during an Parrish meeting between the 9 AM and 11 AM Sunday worship services.
We will be electing three new members to the Vestry, who will serve a three year term.
To nominate, or to serve, you must be a Voting Member. Nominations are due by October 11, 2026
According to the Church of the Resurrection bylaws: To be a "Voting Member of the Parish" one must be baptized, a communicant, sixteen years of age or over,
recognized by the Rector as an attendee at services, and one who gives of their time, talent, and money in a regular fashion to the Parish."
