RES WOMEN'S MINISTRY
Spending time in women’s ministry fosters connections among women of all ages, creating a nurturing environment to share life’s challenges and celebrate joys together. Through acts of service, fellowship, and discipleship, women’s ministry strengthens the overall church community by equipping women to lead, mentor, and participate actively in the mission of the church. ResWomen grow in faith and serve as vital contributors to the church’s mission and witness in the wider world.

Prayer is the foundation of all we do at Church of the Resurrection which makes this team of critical importance to the ResWomen’s ministry. Every initiative and every woman needs to be covered in prayer. No experience is necessary, only a heart to seek God’s will. This team will meet at church the first Saturday morning (8:30-9:45) of each month.

BIBLE STUDY TEAM
God reveals himself and speaks through His Word. This team will help determine the content and methods we will use to study the Bible together as women. We will also discuss how to get more women involved. This team will meet at church the second Saturday morning (8:30-9:45) of each month.

DISCIPLESHIP TEAM
Spiritual formation can be defined as the “lifelong transformation of the whole person into the image of Christ, in the context of a deep relationship with God” (p.11 of Ashbrook, R. Thomas. Mansions of the Heart: Exploring the Seven Stages of Spiritual Growth. Fortress Press, 2019.). How is this accomplished? This will be the main topic of discussion for the ResWomen Discipleship Team. Our desire is to help women grow as disciples of Jesus. This team will meet at church the third Saturday morning (8:30-9:45) of each month.

BIBLE STUDIES
At Church of the Resurrection, we believe that that the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and is without error. We read the Bible in community with one another and in our private quiet times to grow as godly women, wives, mothers, and friends. Most of our Bible Studies are intergenerational, with women gathering together from different seasons of life.
