Packing Party!!
Our final in-person meeting before we depart for Shinyanga, TZ, was a packing party. Thanks to the MANY generous donors, we filled 5 large suitcases with supplies for Shade School: sunglasses, sun hats, books, dry-erase markers, Sharpies, crayons, colored pencils, coloring books, magnifiers, clothing, trucks, planes, baby dolls, recorders, and even a mini ukulele!
After lunch, graciously hosted by Susan, our five team members, Susan Grubbs, Abby Fatodu, Mara-lee Khouzami, Tammy Mills, and Kelly Clavell, had a blast unwrapping and strategically packing the bounty! Praise God for the faithful Shade support from our Res family!
We depart on October 24th at 10:20 pm from Dulles Airport. Thank you to everyone lifting us in prayer. We trust God to guide our steps and provide for our needs on this journey of discovery, learning, and fellowship. Bwana Asifewe! (Praise the Lord)
